Really, the only redeeming aspect of that episode is Scotty getting the Kelvan drunk. "What is that?" "It's...it's...it's green!" And even that is only really redeemed by the call back in TNG: "Relics".
Every time I’ve tried to watch the original series, I get into a very similar rut. Not a problem I’ve had with the 90s shows.
I’m curious if you’re going to keep this series going into TNG, DS9 and Voyager?
