One of the things I'm enjoying about _Strange New Worlds_ is that they're making both M'Benga and Chapel actual characters. It bends continuity--Chapel here is supposed to not really know that much about Spock or Vulcans but SNW is showing quite a bit otherwise--but it's worth it.
